A man is in the hospital after being shot near the Frankford Transportation Center in Philadelphia on Monday.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. by the Metro store on the 5200 block of Frankford Avenue.

The victim, who was shot in the leg, was taken to the hospital by SEPTA police and is in stable condition.
