Man shot in foot while being robbed in Inwood, Manhattan

A 39-year-old man was shot in the foot during a robbery in Inwood early Friday morning.

The victim was approached by three men on West 207th Street just after 4 a.m.

One took out a gun and robbed him, stealing his necklace, bracelet and wallet.

During the holdup, one shot was fired, striking him in the left foot.

The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital in stable condition.

The three suspects fled in silver Honda Accord.

One was described as 6'4" tall, wearing a black mask and blue jeans. The other two were about 5"5' tall, one wearing all black, the other wearing black hoodie and blue sweatpants.

One shell casing was recovered at the scene.

The police investigation is ongoing.
