Man shot in Dixon, police say

A man was shot Friday night in Dixon, officials said. The Dixon Police Department received a call about a shooting in the 100 block of South 1st Street. Officers arrived on scene at 11:57 p.m. and found a 36-year-old male with a gunshot wound, the police department said. Officers rendered first aid, and the man was then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. He is in stable condition, the police department said. The suspected shooter was last seen wearing a mask and black clothing.
