Man shot after allegedly ambushed by trio of suspects in Philadelphia's Rhawnhurst section
An 18-year-old says he was shot after being ambushed by three males in an SUV.
It happened in the 1800 block of Chandler Street in Philadelphia's Rhawnhurst section around midnight on Thursday.
Police say the victim was hit twice in the torso. He went into surgery but is expected to be okay.
Officers did find a semi-automatic weapon and ski mask near the scene, as well as several spent shell casings.
The incident is under investigation.
