Man killed in Sacramento County shooting on Franklin Boulevard identified

A man was fatally shot outside a liquor store Wednesday morning in the Lemon Hill area of Sacramento County, officials said. The shooting appears to have stemmed from an argument between two customers.On Friday, the victim was identified by the coroner's office as 38-year-old Keith Deon Golson.A pedestrian found Golson with critical injuries lying on the ground at Franklin Boulevard and 44th Avenue, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said. CPR was performed and Golson was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries. A vehicle with a tire strapped to its roof, believed to have been connected to the shooting, was found by deputies at a nearby gas station. The sheriff's office on Wednesday night said deputies arrested 56-year-old Pedro Alonzo for the shooting. Another person had been detained but was released after investigators determined they were not involved, officials said.Alonzo was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail for murder and is ineligible for bail.
