Man killed after more than 30 shots fired in Philadelphia's Germantown section

Gunfire erupted in Philadelphia's Germantown section early Tuesday morning. More than 30 shots were fired, killing a man.

Police responded to the area of West Rittenhouse and Marion Street just after 1 a.m.

When they arrived, they found a 26-year-old man lying on the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his head and body.

Officers also found four cell phones and cash lying near the victim.

Police say they recovered at least 35 shell casings.

At least one man was seen running away from the scene.

They are looking at several surveillance cameras in the area for more clues on a suspect.
