Man found shot to death in East Los Angeles; investigation underway
A homicide investigation is underway after a man was found shot to death Tuesday morning in East Los Angeles.
Detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department responded to the 1400 block of South Woods Avenue around 7:30 a.m. after receiving a call about a person who had been shot.
When they arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
No further details were released.
