A suspect has been arrested in connection to a deadly hit-and-run involving a bicyclist in Merced.
It happened just after 4:30 pm Monday on West Main Street.
Police say a 46-year-old was found lying in the road after she was hit by a vehicle while on a bike.
She was taken to the hospital, where she died.
Authorities say Nathaniel Louis Mack left the scene but was captured on surveillance cameras, which led police to identify him.
Mack was taken into custody on Tuesday. Police say he tried running away but was quickly arrested.
He was booked into the Merced County Jail.
The woman's identity has not been released.
