A man is in custody after making threats while on the Folsom High School campus, officials said Thursday. He also had weapons either on or near school grounds.The Folsom Police Department said 53-year-old Curt Taras of Folsom faces charges that include possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle, possession of a high-capacity magazine, possession of a firearm within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of a knife on a school campus and violation of a court order.Officers at 6:32 p.m. Wednesday went to Folsom High after a report of a man walking on the campus while making threats, police said. Officers found and detained him at Iron Point and Grover roads.Jail records show Taras is in the Sacramento County Main Jail and is ineligible for bail. He has a court hearing in connection with his arrest scheduled for Monday afternoon.Parents received an email from the school that said basketball coaches called police after someone who was not allowed on campus refused to leave. Athletes were under a lockdown as a precaution until officers detained a man, later identified as Taras.See news happening?
