
The man accused in a downtown Omaha shooting that injured one person will go to trial.Khyre Holbert is charged with first-degree assault, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and use of a firearm by a prohibited person.Holbert is accused of shooting a 28-year-old man in October at the intersection of 13th and Howard streets in the Old Market, according to investigators.According to court documents, a judge ruled probable cause was found and the case was bound over to District Court.READ MORE: Suspect in Old Market shooting now facing federal firearm chargeHolbert is also facing a federal firearms charge in the incident.
