Man, 68, Found Shot To Death Inside Oak Forest Home, Police Investigating
OAK FOREST, IL — A man found dead inside an Oak Forest home Friday died of multiple gunshot wounds, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said Sunday afternoon.
At around 6:20 p.m. Friday, Oak Forest police and fire personnel were dispatched to a home in the 15000 block of Sunset Avenue for a person who was non-responsive. First responders found 68-year-old Michael Arnold of Oak Forest inside the residence, and he was pronounced dead. The Cook County Medical Examiner has ruled his death a homicide.
The Oak Forest Police Department Investigations Unit and the South Suburban Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
