CONCORD, NH — A man from Loudon was arrested and held without bail Tuesday night on gun threat and other charges after an incident on Elm Street in Penacook.

Around 7:30 p.m., police were sent to a home for a report of a domestic incident, which led to Dylan Lessard, 23, of Hilltop Drive in Loudon, firing a gun into the floor of the home, according to a court affidavit. Lessard left the house but then returned, witnesses said. But after seeing police lights, he fled the scene, according to a report.

The officer interviewed two women and took down information connected to a vehicle Lessard drove away from the scene in, the report said. Two others were also in the home. The officer confirmed no one was hurt during the incident.

While walking around the kitchen area, the officer noticed the smell of gunpowder from "a recently discharged firearm."

Later, they found the bullet hole but could not find a shell casing, according to scanner chatter.

The women were asked if they had the ability to track where Lessard was and they confirmed they did, via an iPhone, and also told the officer he was living in Loudon, the report said.

One witness accused Lessard of arguing with others and then pulling out a handgun from his waistband and firing it into the floor. They accused Lessard of drinking a beer at the time.

Another witness stated the fight was concerning another relative's cell phone. Another family member was on a speakerphone during the argument. They later accused Lessard of pointing the gun at the cellphone. Later, he was pacing around the living room, the report stated.

They said the argument never got physical.

Another officer interviewed others at the home about the incident and gave similar testimony as the other witnesses.

During the investigation, an officer learned Lessard was using the license plates of another family member's vehicle on his vehicle, the report said.

Loudon police, Concord officers, and Merrimack County Sheriff's Department deputies arrived on Hilltop Drive and arrested Lessard. A Concord officer accused him of smelling like alcohol. An affidavit said he claimed to have only had one beer at dinner, a Voodoo IPA. The officer, however, "observed Dylan to have red glossy eyes" and was "swaying" while being arrested. A pistol was found in his truck, the affidavit stated.

Lessard was arrested on driving under the influence and criminal mischief charges as well as reckless conduct-deadly weapon, falsifying physical evidence, three criminal threatening-conduct with a firearm, and three domestic violence-criminal threatening-deadly weapon charges, all felonies. He was arraigned by video in Concord District Court on Wednesday and was given cash bail of $500. Lessard also requested an attorney.

In a press statement on Wednesday, Lt. Thomas Yerkes said the incident was "an isolated incident" and he believed there was "no current threat to the public related to this incident, at this time."
