Los Angeles, California crash: Woman rams SUV into would-be burglary crew's getaway car | Video

Dramatic surveillance video shows the moment a Los Angeles, California mother slammed her Mercedes-Benz into a would-be burglary crew's getaway car.

The burglary attempt happened Saturday afternoon at a home.

The mother, who did not want to be identified, said she ran out for coffee and left her three young children and their grandmother at the home.

She barely made it down the street when the grandmother called screaming and told her burglars were on the property. Screams coming from the home scared off the would-be thieves.

Meanwhile, the mother made an abrupt U-turn in her Mercedes and quickly drove home, arriving just in time to ram the suspects' parked sedan before they could enter it.

Video shows the Mercedes hit the side of the sedan and jump the curb. Three suspects could be seen running from the area after the crash.

Tire tracks at the scene show where the luxury SUV careened across the street before slamming into a neighbor's wall.

Los Angeles police searched the suspects' car and found a wallet with a driver's license, a red crowbar and a walkie talkie tuned to the LAPD's radio scanner.

As of late Monday, no one is in custody.
