Logan Square, Chicago shooting today: Woman found shot to death in 1700-block of North Kimball Avenue, police department says
A woman was found shot to death on Chicago's Northwest Side early Saturday morning, police said.
Police said officers responded to a call about a person shot in the Logan Square neighborhood's 1700-block of North Kimball Avenue around 2:45 a.m.
Responding officers found an unresponsive 26-year-old woman who had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

No one is in custody, and Area Five detectives are investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
