Law enforcement official hurt during Yuba County shooting, sheriff says
A shooting left one law enforcement official injured Wednesday in Yuba County, the sheriff's department said.| VIDEO ABOVE | KCRA 3 morning headlines for March 26, 2025The Yuba County Sheriff's Department said the shooting happened around 7:50 a.m. during a search warrant near Kestrel Court in the Olivehurst area. Several different law enforcement agencies were part of the search warrant operation.One official was shot and is receiving medical aid, the sheriff's department said. The extent of the officer's injuries is unknown.The department did not release details on which law enforcement agency the official is with. It is also not known who shot the officer or how many other people who aren't law enforcement were part of the shooting.KCRA 3 is working to learn if any officers fired their guns during the shooting and, if so, how many.
