Landlord shoots and kills naked intruder who body-slammed him at North Hollywood apartment: LAPD
A landlord shot and killed a naked intruder after being body-slammed by the assailant Friday morning at a North Hollywood apartment, authorities said.
The violent incident occurred around 7:15 a.m. in the 4500 block of Tujunga Avenue, in a building nestled between the street and a 101 Freeway offramp.
According to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson, the suspect entered an apartment and was confronted by two women who were at home at the time.
The women yelled at the trespasser to get out, prompting the landlord to rush to their aid, the LAPD said.
The intruder body-slammed the landlord, breaking both of the victim's legs, police said. The landlord then opened fire, killing the suspect.
No injuries to the women were reported.
