Lafayette, Indiana shooting: Manhunt underway after Tippecanoe Judge Steven Meyer, wife, Kimberly shot in Mill Pond Lane home

A manhunt is underway for the person who shot an Indiana judge and his wife .

Tippecanoe County Judge Steven Meyer and his wife, Kimberly, were shot in their Lafayette home on Sunday.

According to a police dispatch, a caller told police a man came to their door and said he found their dog.

The suspect then fired shots through the door.

The judge was hit in the arm, and his wife in the hip.

At last check, both are expected to recover.

Indiana Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush said she worries about the safety of all judges.

The FBI is involved in the investigation.
