I-94 traffic: Bishop Ford Freeway shooting prompts road closures near 159th Street in South Holland, Illinois State Police say

A shooting on the Bishop Ford Freeway injured at least one person early Sunday morning, Illinois State Police said.

All inbound lanes are shut down near 159th Street. That's in South Holland.

ISP troopers have been searching the roadway for bullet casings at multiple locations between 130th and 159th streets.

ISP said the shooting victim is a female of an unknown age.

So far, no one is in custody.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible while police investigate.
