Hampshire IL shooting: 17-year-old boy shot to death at home in 100-block of High Street, police department says
A teenage boy was shot to death in the west suburbs on Saturday night, police said.
Hampshire police said officers responded to a report of a shooting inside a home in the 100-block of High Street around 11:30 p.m.
Responding officers found a 17-year-old boy who had been shot. He died at the scene.
Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
