Glassboro Police investigating shooting near Rowan University campus

Police are investigating a shooting just feet from the Rowan University University sign in Glassboro, New Jersey.

Officers responded to the scene at around 2 a.m. Sunday near Main Street and Mullica Hill Road outside a nearby restaurant.

Investigators recovered a gun and spent shell casings.

A spokesperson for Rowan University assures us that no students were involved in the incident.

So far there is no word on what led to the incident or if there were any injuries.

This is an on-going investigation with the Glassboro Police Department and Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
