Garfield Park, Chicago shooting injures 2 outside Franklin Food and Liquor store on North Kedzie Avenue: police department

Two men were shot in front of a liquor store on the city's West Side on Friday night, Chicago police said.

Video from the scene shows bullet holes in the door of Franklin Food and Liquor in the Garfield Park neighborhood's 500-block of North Kedzie Avenue.

Officers responded to the shooting just before 11 p.m. Police said two men, 45 and 48, got into an argument with two other men, who pulled out guns and started shooting.

Both victims were taken to Stroger Hospital. The 45-year-old, shot in the back and arm, was in serious condition. The 48-year-old, shot in the body multiple times, was in fair condition.

There is no one in custody, and Area Three detectives are investigating.

Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.
