Elected leaders in Philadelphia unveil 'ICE Out' legislation

Elected leaders in Philadelphia unveiled what they call "ICE Out" legislation on Tuesday morning.

It's in response to the tension and conflict that has been happening in Minneapolis.

They gathered outside City Hall for the announcement.

The goal is to prioritize the protection of immigrants in the city, and to enshrine Philadelphia's "welcoming city" policies into law.

The new package of bills is based on national models and legislation from cities across the United States in an effort to set clear limits on Immigration and Customs Enforcement activity.
