Driver asleep at the wheel crashes into utility poles, knocks out power to residents in Norwood, Pennsylvania, police say
A crash knocked out power to more than 350 customers in Delaware County on Thursday morning.
It happened at 4:30 a.m. on the 500 block of Chester Pike in Norwood Borough.
Police say the driver of a van fell asleep and took out two utility poles near the Eagle Square apartments.
Investigators say the driver did suffer injuries, however there is no word on the severity.
As of 10 a.m., PECO was reporting that just over 60 customers are still impacted.
