Downers Grove news: Police department looking for man who allegedly grabbed jogging woman in 5400-block of Brookbank Road
West suburban police are looking for a man who allegedly grabbed a woman while she was jogging on Friday.
Downers Grove officers responded to the 5400-block of Brookbank Road, between Maple Avenue and 55th Street, just before 3 p.m.
A 46-year-old woman was jogging when a man reportedly approached her and grabbed her hips, police said. The woman screamed, and the man fled back to a vehicle and left.
Police described that vehicle as a dark gray, four-door sedan with a silver emblem on the back.
The suspect is described as a man in his early to mid-30s who is about 5-foot-11 and has short, black hair. He and wore a navy t-shirt with white letters reading "SAS" on the front and back, along with black pants and bright white Nike Air Max shoes.
Police asked anyone with information on the battery case to call them at 630-434-5600. Investigators also asked any residents in the area to check their surveillance video systems for footage of the suspect or vehicle. That footage can be uploaded here .
