DoorDash driver shot in Omaha drive-by; police seek suspect vehicle

Omaha police are releasing surveillance video of the vehicle of a suspected shooter. A DoorDash driver was shot in the forearm during a drive-by shooting in northwest Omaha. The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Sept. 28 near 48th and Lafayette.Surveillance video from a nearby church shows a truck driving by, with a person in what looks like a white sweatshirt emerging from a window and firing a weapon. Although the video is grainy and only a few seconds long, a muzzle can be seen flashing at least three times. The victim said he did not know why he was targeted. Other surveillance cameras captured the truck, which appears to be a dark-colored Chevy Silverado from model years 2000 to 2007.
