A man has been charged in the deadly CTA Pink Line shooting last month, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened on a CTA Pink Line train at about 1:22 a.m . in the 100-block of North Wells Street in Dec. 23, according to police.
Pedro Villarreal, 34 of Chicago, is accused of shooting two men, killing one, police said.
Two victims, 23 and 44 years old, were allegedly arguing with Villarreal, who was armed with a knife, police said.
Police said one of the victims then took out a gun. Villarreal was able to get control of the gun and fired, hitting the two men.
The 44-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and died at an area hospital. He was identified as Raymond S. Harrison Jr. by the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The 23-year-old man was shot in the wrist; he was expected to be OK.

Villarreal was arrested by Cicero police on Saturday in the 1200-block of S. 49thAvenue in Cicero.
He is facing multiple charges including murder, attempted murder, aggravated battery, among other gun-related charges.
Villarreal is due in court on Monday.
