Crime Stoppers: Omaha robber threatens to shoot Walmart customers

Omaha police are asking for the public's help to identify a masked man who threatened to shoot someone during a robbery at a Walmart off 50th and L streets at 10 p.m. on Aug. 29.The suspect, described as a white male with a medium build and shaggy blonde hair, was caught on camera wearing a black jacket, red hat, and medical mask. He spent about 20 minutes inside the store, pacing back and forth, before approaching an employee in the customer service department with a plastic bag. The employee told police that the suspect said, "Put the money in the bag or I'll shoot someone in the store." After obtaining some cash, the man walked out of the store and was seen leaving on foot, without getting into a vehicle.Police tried searching but couldn't find him. They are hoping the public can help by recognizing the distinctive long hair or the red hat with a white circle.
