Chicago police issued a warning about robberies connected to Facebook Marketplace listings.
At least five incidents happened in Logan Square over the span of six weeks, according to police.
Police said the suspects arrange to meet the victims via Facebook Marketplace to buy an item belonging to the victim.
The suspects ask to see the item, and once they have it in their hands, they point a "Glock semi-automatic weapon" at the victims and run away, police said.
Some of the victims were pushed by the suspects.
The incidents happened at the following locations and dates:
-2000-block of N. Kedzie on July 18, 2025 at 10:25 p.m.
-2000-block of N.Kedzie on July 24, 2025 at 09:20 a.m.
-2000-block of N.Sawyer on July 29, 2025 at 08:15 a.m.
-2000-block of N.Sawyer on August 06, 2025 at 02:45 p.m.
-2000-block of N.Sawyer on August 22, 2025 at 10:29 p.m.
Nobody is in custody.
