Chicago shooting: Woman shot to death inside car in 6700-block of S. Langley Avenue in Park Manor, police say
Chicago police are investigating a deadly shooting on the city's South Side.
The shooting happened at about 11:08 p.m. on Sunday in the 6700-block of S. Langley Avenue, police said.
A 31-year-old woman was in a vehicle when police said a shooter approached from the street.
The suspect started shooting in the vehicle's direction.
The woman was shot in the head; she died at the University of Chicago Hospital, according to police.
It was not known if she was the only person in the car.
Nobody is in custody. Chicago police are investigating.
