Chicago shooting, today: Man shot, killed in West Town after argument near Halsted and Lake, police say
A man was shot to death after an argument in West Town on Sunday morning, Chicago police said.
The shooting happened at about 2:50 a.m. near Lake Street and Halsted, according to CPD.
A 38-year-old man was in an argument with two men inside a gray sedan, police said.
Police said someone inside the car pulled out a gun and shot the victim.
The victim was shot in the chest. He was taken to Stroger Hospital where he died, police said.
A 28-year-old suspect was grazed by a bullet. He self-transported to University Illinois Chicago Hospital where he was placed into custody.
No other information was available.
