Chicago shooting, today: Man shot in head, dies after being dropped off at Holy Cross hospital on Southwest Side, police say

A man died after being shot and dropped off at a Chicago hospital on Sunday morning.

Chicago police said the victim was dropped off at Holy Cross hospital at about 4:10 a.m. on Sunday.

The man had one gunshot wound to the back of the head, police said. He was pronounced at the hospital.

CPD said he was dropped off by a black SUV.

It was not known where the shooting happened.

Chicago police said nobody is in custody as they continue their investigation.
