Chicago police are investigating after a man was shot in the throat on Sunday morning.
The shooting happened at about 5:50 a.m. in the 1700-block of West Albion Avenue, according to police.
A man, 26, was outside when police said he was shot in the throat, police said.

Chicago police said the shooter fled the scene. It was not immediately known how many people were involved in the shooting.
The 26-year-old was rushed to St. Francis hospital in critical condition, police said.
Nobody is in custody.
