Chicago shooting: Man shot, killed while driving on South Side near 101st Street and S Avenue M in East Side, police say
A man was found shot to death in a crashed car Chicago's South Side on Sunday.
Chicago police responded to the call of a crash at about 12:34 a.m. in the 10100 block of S. Avenue M in the East Side neighborhood.
A man, 20, was found inside an overturned SUV; police said the SUV stuck multiple unoccupied parked cars.
Police said the victim was shot in the head. He was taken to the University of Chicago Hospital, where he died.
No other information was available.
No other injuries were reported. CPD said no one is in custody.
Police said a weapon was recovered on scene.
