Chicago shooting: Man shot in Ukrainian Village on Hoyne Avenue near Haddon, Division on Saturday, Chicago police say

A man was shot in West Town on Saturday morning, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened at about 4:41 a.m. in the 1100-block of N. Hoyne Avene, police said.

A 23-year-old man was inside a vehicle when a black Nissan sedan approached and someone started to shoot.

The man was shot in the back; he was rushed to an area hospital and is expected to be OK.

No one is in custody. Police are investigating.
