Chicago shooting: Man, 78, fatally shot inside SW Side home on Lamon Avenue, police say
A 78-year-old man was shot and killed inside a home on the Southwest Side Tuesday night, Chicago police said.
The shooting took place at about 8:01 p.m. in the 4500-block of South Lamon Avenue.
Police said the 78-year-old victim was found shot in the chest.
Investigators are looking at surveillance video for clues.
Area One detectives are investigating and no one is in custody.
