Four people were wounded in a shootout outside a West Side liquor store Sunday night, Chicago police said.
The shooting took place at about 11:51 p.m. in the 5300-block of West North Avenue.
Police said officers were on patrol when they heard gun shots and found two people wounded on the ground.
Officers then took two suspects into custody who also sustained gunshot wounds, police said.
A 32-year-old man was shot twice in the groin and transported to Stroger Hospital in fair condition, police said.
A 40-year-old man was shot in the stomach and transported to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition, police said.
A 30-year-old man was shot in the left elbow and was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in fair condition, police said.
A 33-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the face and declined treatment, police said.
Area Five Detectives are investigating and charges are pending.
