Chicago shooting: 32-year-old woman killed, 25-year-old man injured in shooting at Roseland gas station on 111th Street: Police

A driver was injured and a woman standing nearby was killed as shots were fired Friday night at a gas station on the city's South Side.

The shooting happened around 11:42 p.m. in the 0-100 block of West 111th Street in Roseland, Chicago police said.

A 25-year-old was driving through a gas station parking lot when an offender in a silver SUV began to fire gunshots at him, police said. The victim was shot in the eye and took himself to Roseland Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

A 32-year-old woman standing nearby at the gas station was shot in the arm, CPD said. She was taken to a hospital by CFD, where she was later pronounced dead. Her identity was not yet known.

No arrests have been made as Chicago police continue to investigate.
