A shooting in the Lawndale neighborhood left one man dead and two others wounded Friday morning, Chicago police said.
The shooting took place at about 3:44 a.m. in the 4500-block of West Fifth Avenue.
Police said the victims were outside when they were shot and further details on the circumstances of the shooting were not immediately available
A 31-year-old man was shot in the chest and self transported to RUSH Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
A 26-year-old woman was shot in the leg and self transported to RUSH Hospital, where she is listed in stable condition, police said.
Another 31-year-old man was wounded in the leg and self-transported to RUSH Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
No one is in custody.
