One man was killed and two others seriously wounded in a shooting in the Gage Park neighborhood Thursday night, Chicago police said.
The shooting took place at about 10;32 p.m. in the 5800-block of South Western Avenue.
Police said three men were inside a parked vehicle when a male suspect approached on foot and opened fire before fleeing.
A 19-year-old man was shot multiple times and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
A 22-year-old man was shot in the stomach and back and was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition.
A 41-year-old man was shot in the lower torso and transported to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.
No one is in custody and Area One detectives are investigating.
