Chicago shooting: 3 shot, 1 fatally, on Longwood Drive in Morgan Park, police say

One man was killed and two others wounded in a shooting in the Morgan Park neighborhood Wednesday night, Chicago police said.

The shooting took place at about 8:39 p.m. in the 11000-block of South Longwood Drive.

Officers responded to the scene and found three men wounded, police said.

A 28-year-old man was wounded in the back and transported to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Another man was wounded multiple times and transported to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

Another 28-year-old man was wounded in the left foot and transported to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was listed in good condition.

Further details on the shooting were not immediately available. No one is in custody.
