Chicago police investigating shooting, disrupting Loop CTA trains on Pink, Orange, Green and Brown lines

A shooting investigation has halted CTA trains in the Loop Tuesday morning, Chicago police said.

All CTA trains are standing at the Washington/Wells stop in the Loop as police investigate.

Further details on the shooting were not immediately available.

The investigation has disrupted CTA service in the Loop. The CTA said:

-Pink Line service will operate between Polk and 54th/Cermak in both directions.

-Orange Line service will operate between Roosevelt and Midway in both directions.

-Brown Line service will operate between Merchandise Mart and Kimball in both directions.

-Green Line service will operate between Roosevelt and Clinton in both directions

The CTa said shuttle buses are in place to make connecting stops.
