Chicago police are investigating a series of burglaries on Chicago's Northwest Side.
Police said the suspects pulled up in stolen vehicles and shattered the rear passenger window and took property.
CPD said pickup trucks appear to be the main target. Suspect target those accessible from the street and parked in hotel parking lots.
Once inside the vehicle, the suspects steal wallets, identification, credit, debit cards and cash.
In one incident, a firearm was taken.
All incidents happened on Sept. 9 between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. at the following locations:
-5600 block of N Cumberland Avenue
-7600 block of W Ardmore Avenue
-5800 block of N Overhill Ave
-7700 block of W Victoria Street
-7600 block of W Victoria Street
-7600 block of W Victoria Street
-7600 block of W Victoria Steet
-8500 block of W Higgins Road
Similar incidents occurred in Rosemont, Des Plaines, Norridge and Park Ridge.
Chicago police said one suspect discharged a firearm during a similar crime in Norridge.
