Chase suspect crashes into another car in downtown Los Angeles intersection
A suspect who was being chased by police hit an innocent driver, triggering a rollover crash in downtown Los Angeles Friday morning.
Officers began chasing the suspected stolen white truck around 7:24 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
It came to an end a few minutes later when the suspect crashed into another car at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Trinity Street, causing the other driver's car to roll over into an empty lot.
A woman managed to get out of the vehicle that was hit before she was taken to the hospital. It's unclear if there was anybody else inside.
The chase suspect was taken into custody.
