Cass County man arrested for alleged drive-by shooting that injured Lincoln woman

A Cass County man was arrested in connection to a drive-by shooting in Lincoln. The incident happened on Tuesday around 10 p.m. in the area of 40th Street and Old Cheney Road.A 42-year-old Lincoln woman was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.Police noted multiple bullet holes in the front door of the house along with casings in the street.The Nebraska State Patrol tracked Zach Skeahan, 32, from the scene of the shooting back to his home in Alvo where he was taken into custody.Court documents said Skeahan admitted to discharging a rifle at the residence from a vehicle, and he said he then drove back home and hid the firearm.He was arrested for assault with a firearm, discharge of firearm into an occupied dwelling, and use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony.
