A Camden County police officer was rushed to the hospital after being shot on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred just before 11 p.m. near North Chesapeake and Congress roads.
According to police, the bullet ricocheted off the officer's ballistic vest and entered their arm.
The officer was taken to Cooper University Hospital with apparent non-life-threatening injuries. Their current condition has not been released.
Authorities say a suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
