Bronx murder suicide: 3 people shot, including 2 fatally, in Riverdale
Three people were shot, two fatally, in an apparent murder-suicide in the Bronx on Thursday.
Police responded to an apartment building on Johnson Avenue in the Riverdale section just before 8 a.m.
A 55-year-old man and 59-year-old woman were found shot in the head. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
An 86-year-old woman was found shot in the face. She was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical but stable condition.
Preliminarily, officials say the incident is being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide.
