Bodycam video shows LAPD shooting in Canoga Park
Newly-released body camera video captured the moment gunfire was exchanged between a suspect and LAPD officers in Canoga Park.
The incident happened Nov. 17 after officers responded to reports of a man with a gun near Topanga Canyon and Roscoe boulevards. They chased him to Northgate Avenue.
That where the footage shows him shot at officers, prompting them to return fire.
The man, identified as 27-year-old Marcus Hayes, was wrestled to the ground and taken into custody.
Nobody was hurt in the shooting.
