There is new information on the shooting death of Chicago police Officer Krystal Rivera .
ABC7 Chicago obtained her autopsy records.
They show that the bullet that killed Rivera hit her from behind, possibly entering through an opening in her bulletproof vest.
According to the medical examiner's office, it hit near her left arm pit and traveled through her lungs.

Police say Rivera's partner accidentally shot her, as they were chasing a suspect in Chatham.
That officer has since been relieved of his police powers amid an assault investigation, CPD said.

He's accused of punching a female off-duty officer .
But he claims that he was the victim in the alleged assault outside a Wicker Park bar last week.
