Arrest warrant leads to seizure of guns, meth in South Valley

An arrest warrant leads to the seizure of guns and drugs in the South Valley.

38-year-old Mark Anthony Garza of Porterville was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

Visalia Police say he had been evading law enforcement since 2019, when he was convicted in Santa Clara of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Following his arrest, investigators found five firearms, 250 rounds of ammunition, four large-capacity magazines and 177 grams of meth packaged for sale.

Garza has been booked in Tulare County.
