Arrest made in deadly shooting near Land Park playground, police say
Officials on Thursday announced the arrest of a 36-year-old man in connection with a deadly Land Park shooting in August.Around 1 a.m. on Aug. 14, Sacramento police officers responded to the report of a crash in the 1200 block of 13th Avenue. (Watch previous coverage in the video player above)Upon arrival, officers found a man in a vehicle with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, the police department said.On Thursday, Sacramento police announced the arrest of Jonathan Brito, of Sacramento, for the homicide. Brito was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail and faces a murder charge.
